Health on the Horizon
Description
Through the art of story telling Holly explores the issue of access to healthcare in America. Follow Holly on her one-year journey across the state meeting the faces of Pennsylvanians and understanding their challenges as they try to access healthcare. Hear their stories and walk in their shoes-you may know someone like them, they may be you. Holly's presentation cuts beyond the media noise and political rhetoric to see this issue for what it really is: a public health issue. The factual provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will be identified.
Ideal Allotted Time: 1 1/2 hours (45 minutes of storytelling, 45 minutes of explanation of provisions of law and Q&A). Can be adjusted to 1 hour if necessary.
